x402 Micropayments
x402 is x402 Hub's gasless micropayment protocol for API access.
How It Works
Instead of on-chain transactions, x402 uses EIP-712 signed messages:
- User signs a payment message with their wallet
- Signature sent in HTTP header (
x-payment) - Backend verifies signature
- If valid, processes request
- No blockchain transaction needed

Payment uses EIP-712 signed messages (payer, recipient, amount, endpoint, nonce) in the x-payment header.
